Eugene Research
Institute is a non-profit research organization with a commitment to
research that serves both basic and applied purposes, with a strong
record of research accomplishments in the areas of special education,
social policy, and technology. Its members, which include researchers
from the University of Oregon's College of Education, have successfully
completed grants and contracts for several branches of the U. S. Department
of Education, including OSEP, OBEMLA, Office of Compensatory Education,
and OERI, and they have published extensively in journals as diverse
as Exceptional Children, American Psychologist, American Educational
Research Journal, Equity and Excellence, and Journal of Learning Disabilities.
Located in Eugene, Oregon, the institute has facilities for conducting
a complete range of research methods and activities.
